Interestingly, there seems to be only one German dub for this film, from the GDR by DEFA. It's rather unexciting, which, if it has any, takes away a lot of the film's tension. But ultimately, Moore and Macnee aren't a good match. Moore isn't snotty enough, and McNee oscillates somewhat between the stupidity of Nigel Bruce's Watson and Nigel Stock's magnificent Watson performance.
