Es ist ratsam, nicht zu viel über den Film zu recherchieren, da er als langsamer Erzähler mit aufkeimender Paranoia seine Wirkung entfaltet. Das Ende wirkt etwas grob, ergibt aber Sinn, wenn man bedenkt, dass der Film in Neuseeland spielt.
