Revolte in der Unterwelt.

This is a classic hard-boiled film adaptation of a Westlake Parker novel, with Duvall playing Earl Macklin (Parker). I prefer this version of Parker over Lee Marvin's, though that doesn't mean Marvin's portrayal was poor. In fact, there are no bad adaptations of Westlake's Parker movies—except perhaps Statham's version, which was somewhat underwhelming.
